Federal Disaster Aid Available for Ohio Storm and Flood Damage

FEMA has announced the federal disaster aid is now available to aid Ohio’s recovery from the storms and flooding from April 4 to May 15.

Federal funding is available to the state and to eligible local governments, as well as some private nonprofit organization. The area covered is Adams, Athens, Belmont, Brown, Clermont, Gallia, Guernsey, Hamilton, Hocking, Jackson, Jefferson, Lawrence, Meigs, Monroe, Morgan, Noble, Pike, Ross, Scioto, Vinton, and Washington counties.

Federal funding also is available for hazard mitigation measures statewide.
